
Joel Vicente, Pht, PTRP

Joel Vicente is a licensed physiotherapist and a member of both the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ) and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. In 2019, he completed his physiotherapy equivalency program at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He is also trained in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT).
With over 17 years of experience as a physiotherapist in the Philippines, Joel has extensive expertise in treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. He was the co-owner and manager of Active Life Chicago Antipolo, specializing in rehabilitation and pain management. Additionally, he worked at Physical Rehabilitation Medicine - MCU FDT Medical Foundation, primarily treating geriatric, musculoskeletal, and neurological patients.
Beyond physiotherapy, Joel has a strong background in fitness and personal training, working for over eight years with athletes, special needs children, and individuals striving to maintain a healthy lifestyle at Anytime Fitness, Gold’s Gym Philippines, and Slimmers World International.
Driven by a deep passion for helping others, Joel is actively involved in community initiatives that promote health, wellness, and rehabilitation. He works closely with organizations dedicated to supporting individuals recovering from injuries, managing chronic pain, and improving their overall quality of life.
Outside of his professional life, Joel enjoys playing basketball and volleyball and loves spending time with his kids ice skating, skiing, and introducing them to Jiu-Jitsu. He finds joy in fostering their athletic development and sharing his love for sports and movement as a way to stay active and build confidence.
